Tyler capped off a phenomenal junior campaign by capturing his first state title. He had an absolutely absurd 97.6% bonus rate, with only one win by decision on the season.
He became the second undefeated wrestler in school history with a perfect 42-0 season. His 31 pins was also the second-highest total for a single season.
Tyler won by fall in the Class A feature match (in just :32) over Brendon Oehme of Brandon Valley.
Brianna came in as a sophomore and singlehandedly started the girls wrestling program. She competed as the only girl during her first two years on the mat.
Bri competed at 185 pounds and compiled a 25-6 record her senior year. Two of those defeats came at the hands of the girl she would eventually match up with in the State Championship.
Brianna defeated Allison Konrad of Watertown by 6-4 decision in the title bout.
Sam's 33-match win streak, carried over from last season, came to a halt early in the season at the hands of O'Gorman's Keenan Sheridan. He would then rebound en route to an impressive 43-3 Junior season.
Werdel put together one of the most impressive state-tournament showings in recent memory, pinning his way through the bracket with the exception of Pierre's Trey Lewis, a 7-2 decision in the semifinals.
Sam defeated Keenan Sheridan of Sioux Falls O'Gorman by fall in 1:24 for the state championship.
Maddix wrestled the bulk of his season at 132 pounds before making the descent to 126, where he finished with 26-straight wins and his second state title.
Along the way, Maddix broke the school record for takedowns in a season, recording a STATE HIGH of 239, which places him top-5 all-time.
"Slick" defeated Nolan Miles of Brookings by 10-2 Major Decision in the final bout.
Sam finished off an impressive sophomore campaign 45-5 with his first state championship.
Werdel's season had its ups-and-downs, falling in the finals of the Floyd Farrand to Barrett Schneck of Milbank, and eventually medically-forfeiting out of the Mid-Dakota Monster. He rallied back and compiled 28-consecutive victories to close the season.
After defeating Lucas Slack of Brandon Valley in the semifinals, Sam went on to take his championship match by 3-2 decision over Trey Lewis of Pierre. The two had met three times previously, with Sam winning by decision in each match.
Just the second person to win a title in school history, Maddix made a historic title run. He began the season at 126, where he began the season 10-0 before facing his only defeat on the season, a 9-3 decision to Logan Graf.
After making the cut to 120, Maddix rattled of 36-straight wins and broke the season record for Takedowns with 138.
Maddix defeated Jack Schoenhard of Rapid City Stevens by 2-0 decision with a reversal in the 2nd period to win his title match.
Quincy became Tea Area's second State Champion, as well as the first 2x'er with a finals win in the 2020 - 2021 season.
He put up a perfect 45-0 mark on the year, extending his win streak to 74 consecutive victories. Q fought through some adversity along the way, battling through an injury to his right shoulder.

Quincy became Tea Area's first State Champion in 2020, capping off a 45 - 3 sophomore season.
Q started off the season battling mononucleosis, and took the better part of the season to get back to championship form.
After taking his final loss on the season just before New Year's, Quincy compiled a 29-win streak and broke school records for takedowns, team scoring, and season wins along the way.
Quincy defeated Trason Oehme of Brandon Valley, 2-1 in his Championship Match.
