The Bolting Horse

The nose of the Dash Hound Dog sculpture is pointing in the direction you need to proceed.  Staying on this side of Whitaker Street:

1. Walk 140 metres to the junction of Whitaker Street and Lawrence Avenue

2. Turn left

The Trike

Continue along Whitaker Street, in the same direction you were travelling before, for 140m until you get to the junction of Whitaker Street and Burgess Street, then:

1. Cross Burgess Street

2. Turn left and walk down Burgess Street for 190 metres

3. As you approach the back of the old Te Aroha railway station, there is a path on your right, turn right onto this path

4. Walk up the short slope and onto the Rail Trail for 50 metres

Adrian's Studio

Re-trace your path back to Burgess Street.  Once back on Burgess Street, cross to the other side of Burgess Street and turn left, then:

1. Walk back up  Burgess Street for 70 metres until you get to the junction of Burgess Street and Rewi Street

2. Cross Rewi Street and turn right

3. Walk down Rewi Street for 180 metres, crossing back over Lawrence Avenue

4. On your left is Adrian's Studio  

Ironique Cafe

Continue along Rewi Street for 60 metres  in the direction you travelled from Burgess Street, until you reach Kenrick Street, then:

1. Turn left and walk 80 metres along Kenrick Street until you reach the water fountain sculpture again

2. Turn right and cross Kenrick Street.  Take care when crossing here this is a State Highway! (You can make your way back to the zebra crossing on Whitaker Street if you want a safer crossing, then make your way along Whitaker Street to get to Ironique Cafe.)

3. Continue down Whitaker Street for 20 metres, you are at Ironique Cafe - enjoy your coffee!

As you leave Ironique, turn right and then walk for 40m  along Whitaker Street

Use the zebra crossing to the right of this sculpture, cross Whitaker Street, then:

1.  Turn right

Mad Rabbit

With your back to Whitaker Street, turn left and walk along Whitaker Street, towards the Clocktower for 50 metres.
