All times below are in Pacific (PST) time:

For day 2 (below) we are doing what is called a "flipped agenda". This is where all the presentations are pre-recorded and put on the conference website a week in advance to allow all the attendees to watch and re-watch presentations of interest. For the week prior to the conference questions for each speaker will be generated and posted to the conference site by the audience. The time slots listed below are then groupings of ~5 speakers who will appear live for a Q&A discussion with the audience. Each speaker will get 2 minutes to summarize their talk, and then a moderator will run the session asking each speaker questions from the audience. The audience will have the opportunity to ask more questions live as well.

The benefits of this flipped agenda are:

1) shorter conference days and thus higher probability of attendance by the audience (less interference from meetings/calls at work),

2) a better prepared audience who has studied all the briefings of interest and comes ready for discourse,

3) more opportunity for meaningful questions and dialogue because people have had a week to think about the talks and prepare,

4) more interaction and discussion between speakers in each session who can now bounce ideas off of one another and compare and contrast their topics.
