(https://www.hksb.org.hk/)
Hello! I'm Vivien, the founder of Teaplease. In twenty eighteen, I visited a century-old tea shop in Sheung Wan, which sparked my deep interest in 「Chinese tea culture」. I started with a kettle and began exploring the world of tea. This journey led me to launch Teaplease's blog on Facebook, where I aim to serve a good cup of tea.
During the pandemic from twenty nineteen to twenty twenty-two, I became a certified Chinese tea artisan and Chinese tea evaluator. My family owns a tea garden and factory in China, which led friends and colleagues to ask me to buy tea for them. I aim to use what I learn to create a social enterprise that includes innovative services, products, and online education platforms.
I have experienced a visual impairment in my right eye since childhood, giving me insight into the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals. To support this cause, I have been selling small tea packets and donating to the Hong Kong Society for the Blind.
Losing loved ones highlighted the importance of life education, so I have collaborated with GriefMeLight to combine my tea ceremony workshops with life education and help those grieving find relaxation through tea.
