2025 Senior A (40+) and B (50+)

Paddler Selection
- Primary selection criteria = BEST OC-1 500m time trial using a dragon boat paddle at 500m (no longer than 51").
- Coach-ability and ability to apply technique principles.
- Fitness and training regimens are the responsibility of each individual in supporting their paddling performance. This will not be measured nor tracked for the purpose determining selection.
- Any gals qualifying for the final Senior A&B mixed team standard boat roster as a paddler will be recognized as having made the final Senior A&B women's team roster as a paddler. Times posted during those mixed time trials will be incorporated into the women's time trial data base.

Steerers and Drummers Selection
- Drumming candidates should attend a festival or one of the paddling camps to be evaluated for ability to apply and manage race plan. Suggested camps and festivals TBD. Race videos helpful. Rowing coxswains also considered. Serious candidates should consider attending the team weeklong camp (at Sarasota, FL) and any additional weekend camps. Skills evaluated using a drumming metric.

- - - Steering candidates will be evaluated on their skills including to minimize their impact on hull speed while maintaining the best path to the finish line and 2k turns. Race videos helpful. are NOT REQUIRED to attend any SENIOR Women's A&B hosted camps. It is simply strongly suggested that candidates consider attending one. camps help coaches determine your seating in the boat.
ARE REQUIRED to participate in at least 1 Senior A&B proctored time trial to be considered for the Final roster for the 2025 TEAM USA Senior Women A&B teams.
May attend as many camps or time trials as they wish.
can expect their time trial times to be posted on the team/google time trial results sheet within a week of the time trial. All TEAM USA coaches have access to our time trial results.

All those selected for TEAM USA Senior A&B Women, are expected to attend additional proctored time trials for 150m, 500m and 750 distances for placement onto the 200m, 500m and 1k/2k distances.
Plan travel to arrive at Worlds weekend by July 12 for Saturday and Sunday practices
