Introduction

Welcome to TeamUpForToys!

We're on a mission to bring smiles to kids, one toy at a time. TeamUpForToys gathers the energy from sporting events to create something powerful: hope. By teaming up with the community, we hope to collect toys at sporting events to donate to children who need them the most. We believe that giving back to your community doesn't have to be boring or out of reach, especially for those still in the process of growing up themselves. Our events are based on the model that if you're participating in the event, you're making a difference by simply donating a new or used toy. Our drives aim to collect toys year-round to serve our community through action. Through these events, we aim to build a culture that inspires and includes us all to help change the world!

Baran Salehjahromi

Co-Founder

Hello! I'm Baran Salehjahromi, and I am a rising senior for the upcoming school year. I enjoy playing the piano and learning new hobbies in my free time, as well as being a dancer. I can't wait to help this organization grow and make a meaningful change to bring real impact that lasts beyond the events and into the lives we touch!

Namson Nguyen

Hi! My name is Namson Nguyen, and I love playing all kinds of sports, with soccer being my passion. Outside of sports, I love playing the guitar and spending time with my family and friends. I'm entering my senior year of high school this year, and I am looking forward to seeing and working with y'all to make a difference in our community!

Zumayel Chowdhury

Hey! My name is Zumayel and I am a highschooler headed into junior year. I love playing sports and hanging out with friends and family. I'm excited to help run these sporting events and meet everyone who shows up, and most importantly give back to the kids!
