Human civilization has achieved great heights and is considered the most evolved being on the planet. During the process of development, it ignorantly started damaging the environment. The present-day solution for all the problems of climate change and carbon emissions damaging the environment is not to stop the consumption of energy, but to provide cleaner alternatives to it.

It is a unique initiative by a group of students of IIT Kharagpur which focuses on the field of Sustainable Energy Technologies. It is mapped out as a research-based society for students in the college to work together in making technological innovations for a sustainable future.

We constitute 7 domains namely- Surya (Solar energy), Agni (Thermal energy), Neev (Building energy), Jal (Turbomachinery), Jeev (Bioenergy), Ratn (Fuel Cells and crystal energy), and Management & design. We are working under the guidance of our professors, research scholars, and student advisors.
