The Toronto Educators Association for Mathematics (TEAMS) is a Toronto chapter of the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME). We represent mathematics educators through our annual Toronto Math Olympics, our fall conference and student scholarships. TEAMS organizes an annual Toronto Math Olympics for students in grades 7 and 8. There are four challenges - an individual contest, two paired activities and a 4-person team activity. The content is based on the Ontario grade 7 & 8 curriculum, and the activities stress problem solving skills and collaboration among co-competitors. This site makes past TMO activities available as a challenge to any student who wishes to try them, or to any school that needs practice materials in order to prepare for a Math Olympics or similar type of event.
