RAINBOW RESISTANCE : A Fight for Equality

“Bawal diri ang mga bayot”,  

     A thrown around insult towards people in the LGBTQIA+ community. Despite facing prejudice and discrimination, the community consistently demonstrated strength and resilience, Their unwavering pursuit of equality has not only transformed laws and policies but has also challenged societal norms and opened hearts and minds.

     However this shouldn't be normalize for them.

     Our petition aims to delve into challenges and triumphs aiming for equality towards the LGBTQIA+ community.

     A call to action to shed light on the systematic iniquities that the community continues to face, while inspiring collecting efforts towards creating a society where everyone are treated with respect and equal opportunity. This will help LGBTQIA+ community feels safe and respected.

       A symposium will be held in choosen barangays, people will be gathered in the brgy. Gym and we will conduct a symposium about LGBTQIA+ people. Anyone can attend (including those involved in the community). Attendees will be given a snack and drink. Pamplets will be given during the said symposium/the discussion proper.

Topic to be included during the symposium :

     - Introduction to what is LGBTQIA+ 

     - Human Rights 

     - Awareness (Mental health)

     - Other that involves LGBTQIA+

             The estimated budget needed for the project is none. As we will be seeking donation and funds. We will be asking help for the brgy. trucks to help us for our transportation. The pamphlet would be handmade and printed out material. We will seek donation and sponsors for snacks and drinks that will be given to the attendees.
