As you begin to take Activated Collagen (one little bottle per day), positive changes start to happen within the body as oxidative stress is lowered and your body protects the collagen you already have while adding more, and activating your body to create the collagen it needs. While most people begin to feel an increased sense of well-being, alertness, emotional balance, and physical energy, a small percentage have a cleansing response (detox) as the body is rid of a long history of oxidative stress. They may experience headaches, abdominal discomfort, loose stools, muscle aches, lethargy, feeling sick or ‘fluish’ or a worsening of symptoms of an illness or disease, although this occurs in the small minority.
This is your body naturally ridding itself of toxins and usually lasts 7-10 days. It's best to take the activated collagen (one bottle) with food. Some of the active ingredients are fat soluble and, although it is not absolutely necessary, taking activated collagen with food containing some good fat allows the ingredients to be absorbed more efficiently.
