Apple Classroom is a basic app that is a must have for any 1-1 iPad classrooms. With this app, you can use your teacher iPad or Mac to manage students while they are working on iPads.
The app allows you to:
View students' screens
Navigate (and lock) students to a particular website or app.
Push a student's screen to Airplay.
Lock student screens.

Google Classroom is the blended learning tool that can serve as your "virtual" classroom space. Classroom has several of the same features as Edmodo, Schoology, and other LMSs (Learning Management Systems).
