OVERVIEW
The use of technology in the classroom continues to grow as well as the needs of k-12 educators and their student population. For this reason, a Technology Needs Assessment Survey must be conducted in order to cater to the continuous needs of the Valley View ISD school district.
The target audience being reached is K-12 Educators in the Valley View ISD school district, that range from ages 21-55+. The education levels of selected individuals are from a bachelor's to a master's degree. Technology expertise range from novice learners to expert creators within the fields of general education instruction to specialization in technology related courses.
The purpose of the creation and implementation of the Technology Needs Assessment Survey is to assess the potential technology needs within the Valley View ISD school district. The reasoning behind the district-wide survey is for k-12 educators to share strengths along with in-house needs that will help alleviate the district's technology concerns. This will then promote a successful technology - driven student lead learning environment.
