Pre-show

A Wakandan official steps up to a podium and states the following words: “Wakanda has experienced some deep wounds in its past, including the killing of King T’Chaka. These wounds would not have occurred had we shared our advanced vibranium technology with the rest of the world. After coming to an agreement with sensible Vibranium-1 Protocols, I am pleased to announce that Wakanda and over 100 countries will share the vibranium resource. To symbolize this great achievement, Black Panther and Captain America will now hold up the Vibranium-1 Protocols banner.”

The rest of the pre-show describes that guests have been transported to Wakanda and will board a Royal Talon Fighter (as seen in MCU movies) to view the vibranium technology.

The Ride Experience

The main show is a simulator ride similar to Nemo and Friends SeaRider at Tokyo DisneySea.  Each of the two Fighters seats approximately 120 guests during the 12-minute show.

Black Panther and Captain America are in the jet hanger with some cosmic cubes in the background. A laser is directed at the cosmic cubes and the room shakes. The cubes mutate into the form of a girl. Captain America can tell that we are looking at something, “What’s going on?” As he looks back, he asks, “Can we help you little girl?” The figure says in a very deep voice, “I am Kobik. I will not be manipulated into the hands of others. I will destroy those who seek to control me–Black Panther and Captain America.” Others in the crowd on the screen become frightened by Kobik, who is a bright blue. Captain America throws his shield at Kobik, which causes the riders to shake but seems to not affect Kobik. Kobik then leaves the Hanger and hurries out into the Wakandan forests. Captain America shouts at us to go follow her.

The Fighter has caught up with Kobik, who has now formed into a Jack Frost style character. Guests realize that Kobik is not just a harmless girl but a nearly absolute powerful being with a splintered sense of consciousness and changing forms as circumstances change. Kobik launches ice crystals at the Fighter. Black Panther is now back on the screen, runs up and tries to knock Kobik down, but he is bucked off. Captain America similarly tries to use his shield to press into the creature but he is knocked down. Kobik runs off again, resorting back to the appearance of a girl.

Captain America shouts to Black Panther, “We can’t over-power her! But maybe we can trick her into resorting back to cube form.” They find Kobik again who is swinging on a playground swing. Black Panther, “Kobik, we have a cute puppy for you over in this doghouse. Do you want to see it?” “Oh, I love puppies!” She quickly runs over to the house, which becomes electrified and consolidates her back into the cosmic cubes.

Black Panther then says, “She didn’t take form by her own. There is only one person who could have brought her to life. My nemesis Klaw!” “How do we stop him?” “As he is a being of sound, I think our friends here in the jet can help with a boom of vibranium. Let’s go find him!”

The heroes find Klaw’s lair (a scientific outpost). There are crates of stolen vibranium visible that he has taken during the chaos of the heroes following Kobik. He hears the heroes coming and traps them in his sound pulses. Black Panther signals to us to launch the vibranium boom. As it approaches Klaw, he is absorbed into his sound converter. Black Panther, “Friends, you’ve saved us from this fiend!”

Guests exit into the Wakanda Outreach Center shop where they can find Black Panther and Captain America memorabilia.
