Once we had secured the location, and the basis of the costume was done, I went back and did up another sketch, showcasing the final look of the killer.

After an initial foam layer on a plastic mask, I proceeded to paint it

Animation Character and Set Sketches - Hoplesss Stop Motion
Whilst drawing the design, I kept in mind that I would be using an articulated doll for the animation, looking for ways to create a tattered and bruised look.

Her dress was hand stitched out of scrap materials, and the winds were made by cutting strips of black paper into a row of feathers, attached to her back with wire.

Using graphic markers, I sketched out a dungeon, keeping in mind the resources I had available (such as paper rolls representing the pillars)
Bringing the concept to life, I used cardboard with black poster paper for the walls, and cardboard paper rolls for the cylindrical columns. Bricks were made with modelling paste & painted with acrylic paint. Tower floor was adhesive linoleum tiles.
