Supporting Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) Team AK Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Program

The purpose of the Team AK Boosters is to support the growth and sustainability of the Team AK Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Programs and Karl Eid Ski Jumping facility. 

Maintaining the Program

The primary focus of the group is to facilitate the necessary fundraising to grow and maintain the jumping program and facilities for Alaskans, as well as to support the recruiting, development, and retention of athletes in the program.

Supporting our Coaches

The group will support all of the key activities needed to ensure the Team AK coaching staff and Program Director have the support needed to run the program and focus on the athletes.  Examples include but are not limited to: organizing the officiating program and competition support, facilitating parent and athlete recruiting and retention activities, outreach and community service involvement, and facility and hill maintenance.


Community

The group will work to advance athletic competition in the sport of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined.  The group will educate individuals in the sport of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined within Alaska in athlete, coach, and officiating capacities.  The group will work to bring together people in Alaska who are interested in the sports of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined to provide opportunities for athletes at local, national and international events.
