The target audience for this Technology Needs Assessment consists of teachers, instructional support staff, and campus administrators at IDEA Frontier Academy, a K–5 elementary school in Brownsville, Texas. Participants will include general education teachers, special education teachers, interventionists, instructional coaches, and campus administrators.
These individuals use technology daily for instructional planning, classroom instruction, student assessments, data analysis, communication, and instructional decision-making. The campus provides access to resources such as student Chromebooks, teacher laptops and iPads, classroom projectors, Microsoft 365, and various digital instructional platforms. While staff members use many of the same resources, their experiences, confidence levels, and technology needs may vary depending on their roles and responsibilities. Participants from different grade levels and positions will help identify common challenges, areas for improvement, and opportunities for additional training or support.
