Many people, including ourselves, have gained many new and different perspectives on the world around us. By joining a team, we have learned how to work together and compromise. Learning good teamwork comes in handy when we are competing in robotics championships but also in any other school projects involving working with a team. We gain grit and perseverance even when something is very challenging. We have used our new skills in many other ways outside of the Vex World and are willing to put our new knowledge to use in many other parts of our lives. Through robotics, we have also learned about engineering and working with our hands. As an all-girls team, we work among many other all boys teams. Working and building our robots to compete with the other all-boys teams can be difficult at times, teamwork will always get us through it.
Robotics is an interactive way for kids to learn about teamwork, grit, engineering, and programming skills. This is a fun way to learn and be active. Robotics has a way of making kids want to learn about multiple different things by engaging them through building and programming robots with a team. Not only is it engaging, it is also super fun and educational. For people who are visual and hands-on learners, this could be a very good way to learn.
