THANOS' GAUNTLET ASSEMBLY!
Do you have what it takes to assemble the infinity stones on Thanos' Gauntlet to restore balance in the universe? Try your hand at this incredible new pinball machine at IMG World's of Adventure!
This pinball machine delivers unique fun in an unexpected way! Usually pinball games are designed with the heroes in mind, but this time you're actually helping the villain!
The exterior artwork is designed to clearly show the subject matter of the game. Multiple images of the Gauntlet and Thanos' head grace the sides of the machine set to a strong purple background with black framing to make the machine stand out from the bright lights of the arcade room.
The object of the game is to assemble the infinity gauntlet by landing pinballs, each colored as one of the six infinity stones, into the correct holes in the gauntlet. Placing all six correctly will earn the jackpot prize. There will be avengers-themed bumpers attempting to stop you along with the Bi-Frost, but a smart player can use these to their advantage, just like Thanos using the Avengers in Infinity War to help him achieve the stones, these bumpers can get the ball right into the correct hole if used properly. The avengers characters featured are Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Scarlet Witch.
Players lose when the ball either goes past the paddles into the machine or if the wrong colored ball lands into the wrong hole. Trapdoors will keep the wrong holes closed, but as more stones are placed the less holes will be covered, which in turn increases difficulty.
Along with the Avengers, the Bi-Frost can both hinder and help your gameplay. It essentially sends the ball back to the standard pinball paddles at the bottom. Do not be intimidated, yet don't underestimate its power!
Similarly to other pinball machines, there is a launch tube for the ball, which is done automatically by the machine, along with a kiosk to swipe your arcade card for play. There are also pins on the sides of the machine to move the paddles.
A panel at the bottom of the machine next to the swipe kiosk is a score tracker of how many stones have been placed. One stone will light up after a successful placement and will determine the player's final score after gameplay and the appropriate points will be uploaded to the players card once finished.
Points are tiered as follows:
1 stone = 5 points
2 stones = 25 points
3 stones = 150 points
4 stones = 300 points
5 stones = 1000 points
6 stones (jackpot!) = 5000 points
