The Giant Squid

In sharp contrast to the bright colors of the rest of 20,000 Leagues, The Giant Squid bar is set in a dark purple-red hue. This area is not for the faint of heart as this is Captain Nemo's greatest fear. How can the Nautilus survive a giant squid when it is held tightly in its grasp? The tentacles of the squid reach all around the space.

That is where the libations come in. If the ship is going down, worrying doesn't help a thing! Take a load off--it's easier to be swallowed that way.

In keeping with the darker theme, the bar has ample dark drinks: stout beers, IPAs, Dark Stormy (dark rum, ginger beer and lime juice). There are, of course, the lighter options--Coors LIght, Blue Moon, Old Fashioneds; however, the crewsmen (or women) may find themselves scrapping them to fit the mood here.

The typical treats of Pizzas, Hamburgers, French Fries, and Onion Rings are served here plus some guest favorites--Fried Calamari and Takoyaki (octopus balls).

The Giant Squid offers plenty of seats along its long and narrow bar bench but also more tables for groups.
