Ms. Jarvie:
I am really looking forward to teaching you all this year. I have been a teacher in Coquitlam for 12 years now and I am so grateful to be at Como Lake. I love all of the opportunities that are available at middle school and I am looking forward to creating fun activities and projects for our classroom this school year. Some of my favourite things to do are: getting outside with my husband and two little kids, watching movies, baking, and playing sports (especially snowboarding).
Mr. Boles:
I am so happy to be back here at Como Lake on the Legends Team. I have been teaching for the last 10 years and have taught in Kenya, China, England and here in Coquitlam. After floating around Coquitlam, I can honestly say Como Lake Middle has some of the best opportunities for Middle School students. Learning is more than just books it's about experiences. From Genius Hour to STEAM through to our hands on expos kids really have the opportunity to shine every day!
A little about me: I am a father of two little ones, a two-year-old and a 6-month-old. I grew up here in Coquitlam playing hockey and lacrosse. I love my English Football (soccer) team Tottenham Hotspurs. I look forward to getting to know, connect and learn from your kids this year!
