About us - Team Cerberus
Welcome to our project! Team Cerberus has three members: Sydney Jones, Grace Lui, and Lauren Hrůza, we are all computer science majors at the University of Virginia who completed a three-week study abroad program in Greece during the summer of 2024. During our time in Heraklion, we developed FaceIt, a system designed for tourists. This website showcases the development of FaceIt, illustrating our iterative design process. Despite time constraints that necessitated skipping some typical design steps, we believe FaceIt demonstrates a well-considered and effective approach.
Welcome to Face It!
FaceIt is a new way to learn about places when traveling. The goal of FaceIt is to create a more enriching experience for users when traveling to another country, whether they have been there before or are first-time visitors. Through the use of location-based wordless reviews, travelers can find authentic reactions to different places including: restaurants, reactional activities, sightseeing locations, and more.
