Thank you for visiting my site. I love to learn and teach. If you are a student, a guardian, or a colleague, welcome!
I have been teaching since 2006 and I can't believe how the time has flown by! Over the years I have become passionate about many topics.
I moved back to my hometown of Thetford in 2018 with my daughter, son and husband. I enjoy living next to my family and close friends. We have a tight community that supports and celebrates each other. I am the fourth generation to take care of our family land. We have a family Maple sugar bush, pastures and hay fields, a Christmas tree farm and a working 1920's saw mill. We designed and built our timber frame home in 2019.
I enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, swimming, fishing, target shooting, hiking, biking, gardening, maple sugaring, four wheeling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and snowboarding to name a few. I like to visit our camp with our family in Pitsburg, NH.
I love being creative! Designing interiors, landscapes, organizational systems, or content units are some of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy our hydroponic garden tower, canvas painting, furniture flipping, reading, writing yin yoga, and a good movie.
I have served on the Thetford Center Community Association board, through the ARMY, volunteer fire department, dispatching for police departments, participated in community theater, flipped furniture to donate to non profits like Cover & Uplifting Thrifting, completed the Dirty Girl Run to raise money to fight cancer, designed & directed art and stem camps to raise money for the TCCA Building.
When I was growing up, I was able to help my grandmother (she also served on the board) by helping community members at the dinners they held, face painting at the Old Home Day celebration and making posters for many of their events. I am grateful for the connections I formed with the community members and realize how important they were to my success. I enjoy giving back to my community and it influences many of my teaching lessons.
