Christian faith is not a vague spirituality, nor is it a private collection of opinions.
It is a faith grounded in what God has revealed in Scripture and confessed by the Church throughout history.
This page provides a clear, accessible summary of the doctrines taught at Teaching Bridge Fellowship. These beliefs are drawn from Scripture, informed by the historic Christian creeds, and confessed within the Reformed Baptist tradition.
If you are looking for where we stand doctrinally—this is the place to begin.
Everything summarized here is taught under the following commitments:
Scripture alone is the final authority
Christ stands at the center of redemptive history
Historic creeds and confessions serve as faithful guides
Doctrine is taught for clarity, stability, and growth
All teaching is open to biblical examination
These summaries are not exhaustive. They are meant to orient, not overwhelm—and to guide you into deeper study.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is the final standard for faith and life and is to be interpreted according to its original meaning within the whole counsel of God.
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence, glory, and power.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the eternal Son who took on flesh, lived in perfect obedience, died for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, and reigns as Lord.
We believe salvation is entirely the work of God’s grace, accomplished by Christ and applied by the Spirit—received by faith alone, apart from human merit.
We believe the gospel is the good news of what God has done in Christ to save sinners—centered on Christ’s life, death, resurrection, and victory.
We believe the Church is Christ’s body, made up of all who are united to Him by faith, and expressed visibly in local congregations under Christ’s lordship.
We believe believers are called to live lives of faith, repentance, obedience, and love—growing in holiness by the power of the Spirit.
We believe Christ will return bodily and gloriously to judge the living and the dead, consummate His kingdom, and dwell with His redeemed people forever.
Teaching Bridge Fellowship teaches these doctrines within the framework of the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, which we believe faithfully summarizes the teaching of Scripture.
While the confession does not replace Scripture, it serves as a trusted guide that promotes clarity, continuity, and doctrinal stability.
Each doctrine summarized here has a corresponding teaching page where it is explored more fully through Scripture and careful explanation.
