This podcast examines the CNN/ Sesame Street Town Hall on Racism that was broadcast during the uprisings of Black Lives Matter protests in the United States and around the world against the murder of George Floyd and other unarmed Black people by police. To assist you in beginning your anti-racism education journey, we have analyzed the Town Hall and broke it down into sections that cover specific topics. We explain that children are not too young to learn and talk about race and racism. This podcast is for parents and teachers looking for ways to talk to children about race and racism. A lesson plan accompanies this podcast for (K-3) teachers to begin these important and necessary conversations with their students and start their journey to becoming anti-racists!
