The Mission of the Teaching and Learning Center is to promote excellence in teaching and learning by providing faculty with professional development opportunities, instructional resources, and support services.

The Vision for the Teaching and Learning Center is to be recognized as a leading center for innovative teaching and learning practices that enhance student success and promote academic excellence.

Goals

1. Enhance faculty support and development by providing professional development opportunities through workshops, seminars, and conferences on topics related to effective teaching practices and instructional technology for all faculty.

2. Provide instructional support services to faculty through media design and development services including technical and pedagogical consultation to enable faculty to integrate online content into courses.

3. Provide instructional design services to enhance course quality in partnership with WSU Tech faculty.

4. Promote the integration of instructional technologies that support the curricula.
