Implementation of Data-Driven Learning (DDL) and the Effects of Machine Learning in and Outside of the Classroom

The presentation will talk about my journey towards data science and attempting to implement what I have learned in the classroom. In February of 2020, I had more time on my hands then usual as my courses were online. I started taking programming courses including machine learning courses. I also started to increase my skills on how to research corpora for patterns. Then I tried to create materials to help students analyze the patterns found in corpora. In the future, I hope to create education-based applications that can help improve student writing and vocabulary learning.
