Adrianne Verla Uchida has been teaching English in Japan since 2004. She is currently an assistant professor at Nihon University in Mishima, Japan. She received her MA TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2013. Her current academic interests include reflective practice and language learning psychology. As a recent new mother, she is currently pondering how to achieve a reasonable work-life balance with a one-year old during a global pandemic.

Hanoi Academy International Bilingual School
Kendal Rolley is the Professional Development and Quality Assurance Coordinator at a Bilingual K-12 School in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he has worked for the past eight years. He holds a Masters in Applied Linguistics from Monash University, Melbourne, and is interested in student motivation (and demotivation) as well as teacher development. He enjoys reflecting on teaching and writing about it, with publications in places such as KQED's Mindshift and MET (Modern English Teacher) Magazine. In his spare time, he enjoys the challenge of learning Japanese, and feels like active language learning is a key (but often overlooked) part of understanding the student experience.

Reiko Takeda teaches full-time at a private university in Tokyo, where she is responsible for courses in IELTS preparations classes and intercultural communication. While teaching English for the past 10 years at the university level, she received her M.A. in TESOL at Teachers College, Columbia University and her Ph.D. in language education at International Christian University in Tokyo. Her research interests include qualitative studies focusing on study-abroad students. Reiko has developed an interest in the Chinese language, which she hopes to start studying some time soon. Although she has not studied a foreign language in a while, she is interested in finding out how being a language teacher can help her acquire another language.

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh
Rezwana Islam is a lecturer at the center for Language Studies in the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. She is also a TESOL trainer and IELTS teacher at British Council. She has completed her first MA in English and second MA in ELT. She is also a CELTA graduate. Her research interests stem from her experience both as a teacher and a student which involve topics like, discourse analysis, technological competence and educational technology. s presentation here.
