About Stuart
I am a dedicated and passionate educator with over 20 years of secondary education experience, focusing on inspiring and empowering students aged 11 to 19 to achieve their full potential. My career has been driven by a commitment to transformative learning experiences and helping both students and educators achieve their full potential. Over the years, I have held roles as a Senior Tutor, Associate Assistant Principal, Head of Department, and Assistant Headteacher. In these positions, I championed student wellbeing, mentored trainee teachers, and introduced innovative teaching methods that enhanced outcomes across the Sixth Form, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Holding a PGCE, BA (hons), and an MTeach (Master in Teaching), I bring a blend of strategic vision, empathy, and hands-on expertise to every session. At TEACHER Talk, my mission is to provide tailored teacher coaching and educator mentoring that empowers you to rediscover your passion for teaching. I understand the pressures of overwhelming workloads, high expectations, and the challenges of balancing professional and personal life—factors that can often lead to burnout.
What I Offer:
✅ Personalised Guidance: Bespoke advice and mentoring that align with your unique teaching context.
✅ Reflective Evaluation: A thoughtful space to critically assess your practice and uncover key opportunities for growth.
✅ Actionable Strategies: Practical steps and clear recommendations you can implement immediately to elevate your teaching.
✅ Empowering Atmosphere: A collaborative and supportive dialogue that nurtures creativity, resilience, and confidence.
My goal is to support educators in achieving continuous professional growth while enhancing overall wellbeing. Whether you’re looking to refine your teaching methods, boost your resilience, or simply gain fresh perspectives, my coaching sessions are designed to foster meaningful, positive change—both in the classroom and beyond.
