The purpose of education is to give the students skill that will help them function in society. When students are taught properly they will become productive citizens. Education is life. We all learn through experiences, good and bad. I will to teach students at a young age to manage emotions and to know that they are valued. Something as small as these principals foster self love and promote compassion. Compassion will help build teamwork and a positive classroom community.
Teaching is about nurturing and developing the gifts and talents of each student. Mentoring each student and teaching them to be independent. Promoting leadership skills and communication skills. A teacher is there to be what the student need physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. As a teacher I will give children strategies that will teach them how to learn and navigate life. I will teach them how to learn and to be a lifelong learner. I will set high expectations for students and set them in the right direction to meet those expectations.
I truly believe that every student should have the opportunity to learn in their own unique way. I will make sure that I give 100% of effort to teach students the way that they learn best. I believe that students learn best when they are giving the chance to express them selves and be actively engaged in lessons. I believe in hands on learning for students. I will meet the needs of individual students by incorporating whole body learning .
The learning environment plays an important role in student success. Students need to feel clean, safe, and organized. My classroom will be dependent on routines to keep everything flowing. I will make sure students needs are meet physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I will make sure our room is a space that make students feel important and heard. I will reach all students in my classroom by building a relationship with them and learning why and how they do what they do. I will pay attention to their interest and abilities.
