NERVOUS SYSTEM
It is divided into 2 parts:
- Central nervous system:
o Brain (it decodes information and sends responses).
o Spinal cord (it controls reflexes).
- Peripheral nervous system: nerves.
Neurons are the cells in the nervous system.
Dendrites receive information from the senses.
They transform it to electrical signals (impulses).
Impulses travel through the axon.
There are 3 types of neurons:
SISTEMA NERVIOSO
Está dividido en 2 partes:
- Sistema nervioso central:
o Cerebro (decodifica información y envia respuestas).
o Médula espinal (controla los reflejos).
- Sistema nervioso periférico: nervios.
Las neuronas son las células del sistema nervioso.
Las dendritas reciben información de los sentidos.
La transforman en señales eléctricas (impulsos).
Los impulsos viajan por el axón.
