Despite the negatives, it is shown in the episode that the obstacles encountered in the business setting should be used as a tool and motivator for personal growth and reflection.
EP #5: Asad explains how an entrepreneur from Shark Tank successfully navigates the investor arena despite being vulnerable and exposed. Asad details how the human side of entrepreneurship has the potential to be the most beneficial factor when pitching to a group of venture capitalists.
Asad Jafri can't wait to become an integral part of the social advocacy and tutoring team at TeachATX. Passionate and dedicated to business and social justice his whole life, Asad Jafri hopes to share his knowledge and guidance of thriving in the business world to the under deserving students of Central Texas. Now a senior at Round Rock High School, Asad is a two-time regional winner in DECA, Treasurer of the Future Business Leaders of America Chapter at Round Rock, state qualifier in the Muslim Students Association at Round Rock, and a notable public speaker at his mosque and within the Austin Muslim community. As the son of an entrepreneur with numerous start-ups and the nephew of a human rights advocate, Asad has grown to become accustomed to the intertwining process of starting a business combined with the principle of assisting those in need. As a social advocate and business tutoring director, Asad hopes to ensure the students of Austin have what they need in order to be victorious in their pursuit of success. In his free time, Asad likes to travel and powerlift.
