I am a lifelong teacher and learner as well as a wife and mother of three. These roles are deeply connected and intertwined. My role as a mother is a consistent reminder to teach with high expectations and compassion.

I received my Baccalaureate of Arts in Childhood Education and Special Education to CUNY Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York. I am pursuing my Masters in Education in Instructional Technology at SUNY Oneonta. I am licensed in the state of New York to teach grades 1-6 in both Special Education and General Education. Currently I teach ELA and Social Studies to two self-contained special education classes for grades 3/4 and 5/6 in Brooklyn, New York.

Throughout this educational journey, I look forward to finding more ways to connect with learners strengths and interests to help them develop other areas of learning.
