The TDNCA is a group of people dedicated to collecting, researching and preserving nails with dates, letters and symbols on them that are/were used by railroads, utilities and others for marking ties, poles, timbers and other structural materials. To present this material and information to its members for enhancement of the hobby and historical record, including information on the treatments and related topics of ties, poles and timbers.
