Tickets went on sale, and somehow by sheer luck, you were able to grab Meet and Greet Tickets! If Meet & Greet was sold out, you were able to snag GA (general admission) tickets! There's only one problem though, you've never met the band and you have no clue how to act and you've never been to a concert before. The thought of meeting your favorite band makes your heart race and your hands shake. Don't worry! We've gathered some advice from ourselves, but from other fans on the internet about a list of Dos and Don'ts at your Meet and Greet or show in general.
Arrive to the concert venue early. This depends on how close you want to be to barricade (M&G will be at barricade.)
Drink lots of fluids- especially water. With tour being in the warmer months, bring water bottles to keep on your person.
If you meet the band (this goes for M&G and outside the venue), respect them and their boundaries. If they say that they are not comfortable doing something, don't keep asking. Please also keep in mind; They are just people. I know it's hard to imagine, but they are.
Make friends! You will enjoy the friends you make at concerts. They may even become your closest friends.
Sing, Dance, and Cheer your heart out! Don't worry about who is watching or who could be judging. You are all there to enjoy the music and your band.
This can apply to M&G as well as meeting the band outside the show; make small talk. If they ask you about your name or things as such, don't be afraid to answer.
Make sure what you have an idea of what you want to talk to the band about. Don't make it something you won't remember, make it something special. (Hannah talked to the boys about music advice. Makenna told the band they saved her life and that she had a tattoo from Rocky. Rocky told her once they were by the backdrop, "I'm glad you're here.")
Do not feel like you HAVE to take photos or videos. Most people prefer living in the moment and enjoying it. Others want to have it for the memories when times get rough.
Don't let someone else ruin your experience. You are there to have fun and see your favorite band. Enjoy it!
Don't ask Rocky to leave the photo during M&G. This happened a few times during the last tour, but I can only imagine how that makes him feel.
If they are outside before and after the show, don't rush others to get their selfies and photos.
Don't be rude or unnecessarily rude to other fans. This can be said for fans that have meet and greet and that don't. Be nice and remember, you never know what someone is going through.
Don't be the fan that yells out things during Ross' speeches before songs that mean a lot. It goes pretty quiet, and everyone is listening. Please be courteous of others.
If you bring a sign, DO NOT make it too big! It will block the view for people behind you and it can be annoying. Bring a smaller sign, something that won't block their entire view.
