Workshop Rationale
Topological Data Analysis (TDA) has emerged as a powerful tool in modern data science. By analyzing the shape of data and exploring the underlying mathematical structures, TDA enhances data understanding beyond traditional approaches. It has demonstrated its usefulness and efficiency across various applications. In particular, its application in industry not only addresses practical challenges and benefits the industry but also provides new mathematical problems embedded within these industrial problems. In this way, industrial applications serve as a valuable bridge between theory and practice through TDA. This workshop aims to foster collaboration among mathematicians, data scientists, machine learning researchers, and industry professionals, exploring new research and industrial application opportunities while providing a platform for practical collaboration.
