Have you ever wanted to try surfing or skateboarding? In this presentation, we are going to introduce the increasingly popular sport of surf skateboarding. Let’s learn some basics about surfing and skateboarding and then try it out together!

With its origins tracing back to ancient India the game of chess had a major impact on the 20th Century. Today, chess remains as popular as ever: the game continues to feature widely in popular culture. The indoor game became even more popular during the pandemic and continues to increase in popularity with an estimated 605 million people playing chess regularly. There has never been a better time to learn about this beautiful and complex game, and appreciate the wider influence it continues to have in contemporary society. This talk hopes to inspire more people to begin playing chess at TCUST.
