TCML-MN (Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning - Minnesota)明州臺灣華語文中心 is a non-profit educational organization, the ONLY Mandarin learning center in Minnesota for ADULT learners (age 18+ ). Building on 50 years of the school’s Mandarin education experience, the TCML-MN 明州臺灣華語文中心and Twin Cities Chinese Language School 明州雙城中文學校 (for K-12 students) have become the top two leading hubs in Minnesota for promoting Mandarin learning.

While most Chinese language schools are for children, we provide a fun, supportive space for adults to learn Mandarin and explore modern culture from Asian communities. Our small class sizes, real-life topics, and practical language uses help learners build confidence and communication skills. We incorporate local community resources and cultural activities to encourage active participation beyond the classroom—whether it's tea tastings, holiday celebrations, or performance events with other local groups. We also support our learners in applying for scholarships to study Mandarin or pursue graduate degrees in Taiwan. TCML-MN believes learning Mandarin should be meaningful, engaging, and open to everyone.
