  • Thayer Central Elementary is participating in the "One School, One Book" program again this year. The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate is the book we will be reading this year. Please send pictures of your family reading together to jenna.pachta@thayercentral.net.


  • Welcome back to school. I am excited to get this school year started. We are going to be doing library checkout a little bit differently than in the past. Students will need to fill out the Library Book Circulation form. I will do my best to get the books to the students as soon as I can.

GOLDEN SOWER CHALLENGE

These students were up to the challenge to read 4 or more Golden Sower Nominees for the 2019-2020 school year. We celebrated with a pizza party and discussed which book was their favorite.
