Please note that a camera body is required in order to update interchangeable lenses.

Please refer the firmware update workflow from below for each combinations of the L-Mount alliance camera body and lens.

I tried Manual Update and had no luck. If I check the box next to the satellite and click on Update it sends me to a login box, but when I put in the username and password it doesn't do anything except want me to put in the username and password again (and again etc). I downloaded the file for the next version, RBR50-V2.2.1.210 to see if it would work but when I tried to upload the .img file, I get "The Fireware file is incorrect. Please get the firewire file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product". I also tried manually uploading and updating using the latest version, RBR50-V2.7.5.4 but got the same message. I am not sure what to do.

You have been caught by a "gotcha" from 2019. The original Orbi firmware was predicted to never exceed a certain size and the update function would check new firmware to ensure that it did not exceed that size. Alas, when Netgear added Armor and Parental Controls the resulting firmware was too large.

That firmware needs to be downloaded (for router and satellite) and manually installed on the router and satellite. (I prefer to connect directly to the satellite web page to update the satellite - use the IP address of the satellite and the same credentials as the router - "admin" + password).

Thanks for the quick response. When I tried to manually upload the v2.2.1.212 img file I got the same error message "The firmware file is incorrect. Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product". Also, when I try and update the satellite from the IP address, I get the same message. I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

I understand that you are having issues updating the firmware on your RBR/RBS50. Your Orbi Mesh system is on an older firmware which is causing issues when updating to our most recent firmware release version 2.7.5.4. To successfully update your Orbi Mesh system you will have to update the firmware one version at a time.

The only other thing I will mention is that before I tried to update the firmware on the router and satellite, I changed the user name and password from the default. However, the satellite user name and password did not change. I don't think it should make a difference but thought I would mention it.

Notice that there is another "Update" button below the line. When that "Update" is checked, the web session switches to the satellite web interface and the "Browse" prompt appears. When doing satellites, selecting the firmware file happens after changing to the satellite. Not exactly intuitive.

Need to press the reset button for 30 seconds then release, then it send to PUT the command and upload the FW.

Make sure you enable tftp: -tftp-windows-10

Video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done:

I had a problem on a Windows 10 PC where this didn't work to use TFTP, so I switched to a Windows 7 PC and the TFTP worked.

When Netgear routers boot up, there is a brief window of time during which they will accept a connection (using the Trivial File Transfer Protocol) to load a firmware image. Here is a Netgear description of using TFTP on MacOS:

Thanks for sharing your experience with this. Do you think leaving it as is would be safe? I worry about its vulnerability because it is not updated to the latest firmware. I don't need parental controls and am unsure what Armor is.

This is nothing to be alarmed about, but you should at least be aware that you are not running a final release version, and from our experience on OctoPrint's support channels we had to find that a lot of people aren't, hence the introduction of this short info. Running a development build means that more bugs might arise that also negatively influence the communication with OctoPrint and that you should be on the lookout for any kind of announcements or warnings both on OctoPrint's side and the firmware's side regarding current problems with the development versions.

If you are a more advanced user who regularly builds and flashes their own firmware or maybe even participates in ongoing development, first of all, good on you , and second of all, you can safely get rid of this info once and for all by clicking the conveniently provided link that says Disable firmware checks of severity "info" right below it.

If you are a new user, have no idea what all this means and were directed to flash this firmware by a third party, please be advised that you are running a version that is still being in active development, might be more or less stable depending on what specific build you flashed. If you do not plan or are not able to flash a stable build, you should at least make sure to update your firmware to the latest development builds regularly so that you get bug fixes.

However, for some strange reason, I'm able to use SCC (1.1.3.4) to update to the lastest 6.3.1.34 firmware. Let alone use SCC to reboot the switch. I've tried 2 PCs on the same switch, with the firewall disabled too.

After upgrading to MX 18.106 firmware on MX84 & MX100 we are experiencing websites not loading in browsers and extremely slow loading of some HTML based Outlook email content. We are receiving "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" and "The connection for this site is not secure" messages in browsers. In Outlook we are seeing the image icon in place of the images until they load, which is extremely slow. Also, a month ago I loaded version 18 beta and experience the VPN tunnels frequently bouncing, but that seems to have been resolved in this latest version. I'm planning to rollback the firmware this evening.

Does anyone know if Meraki/Cisco has opened a bug report for this issue? We're seeing a similar issue with the "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" message coming up since the 18.106 firmware upgrade of our MX100s. It would be interesting to know if Meraki has acknowledged this as a bona fide issue and that they are actually working on a fix.

The Revo has also had a lot of teething issues/failures with the heater units which they are hopefully getting past. Given the issues with them I have read about here and elsewhere (predating and having nothing to do with the current incompatibility with the latest firmware), I don't blame Prusa a bit for sticking with what is known to work (V6) for their printers and kits. The bottom line is the firmware never "supported" your modification of adding a Revo hot end to your printer, it just happened to work with it. That's a big difference. When the new firmware came out they told everyone that it doesn't currently work with the Revo, which is more warning than most manufacturers would give to users who have modified their product. Prusa doesn't appear to sell the Revo as an accessory on their site, and I don't think they have endorsed it.

Either way you still have plenty of good firmware options for your modified printer. The simplest is to go back to the prior firmware which was known to work. You could even configure your own generic Marlin installation, or switch to RepRap Firmware or Klipper, and then at that point who cares what Prusa does with their firmware?

You can also just do steps 10-15 from the guide without logging (and hope it works) and don't contribute for the improvement of the firmware, but then you shouldn't complain if the Firmware doesn't work with a heavily modified printer.

Hello, I recently upgraded a Pixhawk 4 that had PX4 version 1.8 on it to version 1.9. After doing this I can no longer set the airframe type. I am getting the following error in QGroundControl. "Parameters are missing from firmware. You may be running a version of firmware QGC does not work correctly with or your firmware has a bug in it. Missing params: -1:SYS_AUTOSTART, -1:SYS_AUTOCONFIG.

Hi,

I download px4 toolchain and git clone the firmware v1.9;

and build it with make px4_fmu-v2 command, then I upload it to my pixhawk 1.

In mission planner I do not see extended parameter to tune PID controller.

The critical problem is there are not some parameters in full parameter list.

what should I do?

Thanks

Hi

I use navio2 tht had PX4 version 1.12.0beta I can no longer set the airframe type. I am getting the following error in QGroundControl. "Parameters are missing from firmware. You may be running a version of firmware QGC does not work correctly with or your firmware has a bug in it. Missing params: -1:SYS_AUTOSTART, -1:SYS_AUTOCONFIG.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks to the newly developed image recognition algorithm, the update enhances AF-C to track moving subjects twice as fast as previous firmware. In addition, the update also enhances tracking to be able to capture up to 50% smaller moving subjects than before.
