TCL Link is a software for interconnected screen projection between TCL mobile phones, TVs, computers, and TCL tablets. You can project the screen of your TCL mobile device to the Windows computer desktop/TCL tablet. After the connection is completed, you can operate your TCL mobile phone on the Windows computer/TCL tablet, answer calls from your phone, drag and drop files on the computer/TCL, transfer between tablet and TCL phone, and other convenient functions.

You can project your TCL phone screen to TV devices, and get a larger screen viewing experience.

1. Permission acquisition

In the process of using this application, to provide the above functions, it's necessary to obtain some permissions on the device. The specific permissions and authorisation purposes are as follows:

Required permissions:

a)Wi-Fi permission/Bluetooth permission:Establish local connections between devices and transfer data (no networking involved)

b)Nearby devices:Used to retrieve nearby connectable devices.

c)Location:Locate your phone, complete Bluetooth and Wi-Fi searches for device discovery.

In order for nearby tablets and TV devices to be discovered and connected, This application will collect location information data. Even if this application is closed or unused, this type of data will still be collected.

d)Files and media:It's used for file transfer after the mobile phone is connected to a computer or TCL tablet. It's used to drag and drop files between applications that are connected to the PC mode when the mobile phone and TV are connected.

e)Clipboard:Text on the phone and computer or TCL tablet can be copied and pasted to each other, and the clipboard permission is only invoked during the multi-screen collaboration connection.

f)Phone:The phone audio streaming function needs to know the phone call status.

g)Camera:Used to scan code to connect.

h)Record audio:Used to record audio for cast.

2. Information processing

a)Device name:Used to display a specific device (only used locally, not uploaded to the server).

b)MAC address:This information is needed when establishing a local connection (only used locally, not uploaded to the server).

c)IP address:This information is needed when establishing a local connection (only used locally, not uploaded to the server).

d)Your operation behaviour:When you use the application, we will collect your operation behaviour information (including but not limited to click behaviour, exit the application, connect the device, etc.). Operational data is used for statistics and analysis so that we can optimise products and services and improve user experience.
