The opening script document is designed so that each segment is in its own row and alternating shading keeps you on the right line.
The first column describes the segment (does not need to necessarily be read) AND will sometimes provide a quick reminder instruction.
[Red text] with that formatting is just a place holder reminder that someone else will be doing something (reading, announcements, prayers, etc).
When reading in-line PDFs, the inner window containing the document is scroll-able so you may not see 100% of the page. Testing has shown if you don’t click anywhere in the window, you SHOULD see the entire page so if you keep your mouse OUT of that text area, you won’t have any problems. You can use the vertical scroll bar to move between all the pages. There are also zoom in/out (giant minus and plus signs AND a magnifying glass) in case you are having trouble reading the default size of the page.
For remote meetings it is good to touch base (and the opener script reminds you of most of these) so that you can find or remind:
An opening reading reader
A closing reading reader
Someone to close the meeting with a prayer
Remind the page keeper to post the page number and paragraph note in the Zoom chat…they will announce it at the right time too
Just before it’s time to announce, prepare the information in the chat window. Announce (meeting leader will remind you when it is time) and send the chat.
Since we read and study from different books, remember you may need to note the book from which we are reading, the date, the page and first couple of words from the NEXT paragraph we'll be reading from when we start the following week.
