As a center of lifelong learning, the Tagoloan Community College Library (TCCL) commit that its collections remain forward - looking to widen the horizon of the library users and promote effeciency for better educational competencies.
MISSION
The Tagoloan Community College Library (TCCL) is committed to support the teaching, research and community service functions of the school. To fulfill this mission, the Library commits to: Build collections and create tools to support research, teaching, and learning; Aid and instruct students, faculty and staff in the use of library and to provide bibliographic guides to the contents of the collections; Provides access to information resources including print and non-print materials; Provide a wide variety of mediated program like information literacy and instruction; Encourage the use of the library and its facilities by the general public and academic community; Provide reference and research services by a variety of means; Create hospitable physical and virtual environments for conductive lifelong learning and develop, encourage, and sustain expertise, skill, commitment and an innovative spirit in its staff.
PHILOSOPHY
Emerging theories of librarianship and library practice, as well as reports of successful, innovative, or experimental library procedures, methods, or project in all areas of librarianship, set in the context of research.
