Reading & Active Listening

For any course or class, there will be assignments where reading comprehension and active listening skills are needed. The services are to assist students in better understanding academic text or multi-medium by helping students:

• Identify main ideas or details;

• Synthesize / integrate main ideas or details;

• Paraphrase main ideas or details,

• Tackle difficult vocabulary

• Learn various strategies to read or listen more fluently.
