TThe Tinoto Community Based Eco-tourism (TCBET)  is a social enterprise initiated by the Asnalang Fisherfolks Association in Tinoto,Maasim, Sarangani  and OND Hesed. The Asnalang Fisherfolks Association operates fish cages in Tinoto which was provided by Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources ( BFAR). Since they cannot expand the fish cages, they thought of engaging in agro-tourism to increase income of their members.

This gave birth to the social enterprise idea of Tinoto Community Based Eco-tourism. TCBET was developed through the partnership between Self Help Groups and Fisherfolks Association in Maasim, OND Hesed, AWO International and National Government Agencies in the province of Saranggani and Municipality of Maasim.

TCBET is a model on sustainable tourism where community development, environment protection and multi- stakeholder partnership are at its core.
