12/10/23 -- Click Tri CYA December Newsletter to read about the organization's recent activities. 

12/7/23 -- TBT-DHJC Village has started a relationship with Tri Community Youth Agency (www.tricya.org) in Huntington.  We collected 35 toys at the recent Chanukah party and donated them to Tri CYA.   We are planning to ask each attendee at future Village events to bring donations of non-perishable food to be given to Tri CYA.  In addition to this, there are the following opportunities to donate time to Tri CYA:  Help with Homework, Tutoring on a Subject, Helping in the Food Pantry, Adult Supervision at Events. If you would like to volunteer at Tri CYA, call Debbie Rimler at 631-673-0614. 

8/4/23 -- Notorious is a wartime romance-spy-thriller set in 1946. U.S. Special Agent Cary Grant pursuades American party-girl Ingrid Bergman to fly to Brazil to seduce Nazi spy Claude Rains to learn about his secret project. Both men fall in love with her, but have reason to doubt her actions. The tension builds throughout the film as both men learn more about the woman and her behavior. Not surprisingly, there is an unexpected -- but satisfying -- conclusion. The script, filming, acting and screen chemistry of the lovers is very good. 8/1/23 -- Oppenheimner is an ambitious and complex 3-hour film about the man who lead the immense wartime Manhattan Project to develop the atomic bomb. It skillfully shows his scientific genius and that of his quantum physics recruits; his complicated personal life and related ethical dilemmas; and the intense anti-communist politics of the time. There are many characters; the excitement of breakthrough science; and complex moral and political issues. The storytelling, IMAX filming and acting are excellent. I was immersed in the compelling story and loved the film.  For more information, click DCP@TheMovies
