Liz is the Indirect Tax Director at Meta where she leads Company’s EMEA indirect tax team. Liz is responsible for indirect tax strategy, planning, compliance, audit, and litigation for the region. Liz devotes her time supporting the business and product teams to navigate issues relating to business expansion and new product launches, in EMEA such as FB Shops, Metaverse, AR/VR product initiatives, as well as infrastructure expansion for data centers and subsea cable fiber networks. She collaborates with Meta’s Tax and Regional Policy team to engage with fiscal and tax policy makers and regulators in EMEA to ensure Meta’s compliant with new tax regulatory regimes, particularly those targeting the digital industry. As a member of BIAC Liz attends OECD Working Party 9 on consumption taxes. She is also a member of the TAG which assists and advises the European Commission on VAT. 


Ana Brosa

With more than 20 years’ experience in the Finance and Tax Technology space, Ana is currently leading the Global Tax Technology at Nestlé ensuring the current applications are in line with the current compliance and legal requirements and, at the same time, driving the digital transformation agenda to enable the vision and strategy of the Tax Function.

She started her career in consulting working for Accenture for more than 11 years, where she was mainly involved in Finance Reengineering Processes, M&A and SAP.

In 2013 she joined Bacardi and, amongst other roles, she led the Global Program for Digital Government -that included Tax Technology and Transformation initiatives- and implemented the Global Tax Digitalisation for the company.

Liesbeth Coomans
VAT Manager

Agfa


Liesbeth Coomans is VAT Manager for the Agfa Group. She is providing indirect tax (VAT) assistance for all entities within the Agfa Group, worldwide.

Liesbeth is also a certified tax advisor at the Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants and is an occasional speaker on international VAT events.

She was previously active in the indirect tax departments of KPMG and 3M and is (co)author to several publications in the field of indirect taxes and local taxes.

She was also active as teaching assistant at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 2016 – 2017 

Jerome Cacace

Jerome has spent 22 years with Ford Motor Company of which 15 years as Tax Technology Manager. Previously, he spent 10 years as managing director of a reprographics company in central London catering to marketing, design and architectural practices. He also served 4 years as the CEO of the British Baltic Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate member of the Institute of Export with an MSc in Computer Science.
