All teachers and researchers involved in language teaching and learning are encouraged to submit an abstract to present a poster, make a short presentation, or facilitate a workshop. Submissions should present projects or studies that are either on-going or already completed.
Workshops, short presentations and posters can be in English only, in Japanese only, or in both languages.
The Program Committee will consider two categories of submissions:

言語教育や言語学習に携わる教員や研究者の皆さまにも、ポスターの掲示や短いプレゼンテーション、またはワークショップなど、本イベントにご協力いただければ幸いです。参加をご希望される方は概要のご提出をお願いします。テーマはすでに研究が終了しているか、または研究中のどちらでもかまいません。また、使用する言語につきましては英語のみ、または日本語のみ、もしくは両言語のどちらでもかまいません。
実行委員会は、2つのカテゴリーに基づいて応募案を検討します。
備考：プレゼンテーションは、学習者の第1、第2言語、もしくは外国語の教授および学習のものとなります。

Short paper (30 minutes) ショートプレゼンテーション （３０分）
A short presentation is like a mini-lecture. It is appropriate to introduce ideas and practices that require longer explanations than a poster, but it offers less interactivity with the audience.
ミニレクチャーのような形式です。ポスターセッションよりも時間がかかる内容に適しています。参加者との対話の時間はポスターセッションより短くなりますが、発表者の発表内容をより詳しく聞くことができます。
Workshop (75 minutes) ワークショップ（７５分）
A workshop provides a hands-on experience in small groups, where the facilitator introduces new ideas or demonstrates practical techniques. It is a great place to try something new with the support of an expert and feedback from peers!
ワークショップは、少人数制で実践者が新しいアイディアや手法を紹介する場です。新しいアイディアに挑戦しながら経験豊富な他の参加者と情報交換もできる最高の機会です。
Poster (60 minutes) ポスター（６０分）
A poster session provides a great opportunity to share ideas and practices in a more interactive and less intimidating way, for both presenters and attendees. Presenters have plenty of time to answer questions and discuss their ideas in depth with their audience!
ポスターセッションはプレゼンターおよび参加者のどちらにとってもアイディアや実践方法を簡単に共有できるすぐれた機会です。セッションでは参加者からの質問を受ける時間もあり、より理解を深めることができる場となっています。
The Program Committee will review all anonymized submissions, and consider the balance for a variety of topics and presenter backgrounds. The notification of acceptance will be sent by email within 2 weeks after submission. Abstracts will appear on our website.
実行委員会はすべての応募案を匿名の状態で検討し、全体的に企画内容がバラエティに富み、またプレゼンターのバックグラウンドも多様になるように調整し採用案を決定いたします。結果についてはご応募いただいて2週間ほどでご連絡いたします。企画の概略については、ウェブサイト上に公開されます。
If your submission is accepted, you are requested to register as a participant by April 30, 2019 in order to be considered in the final program.
採用された場合、４月３０日までに参加者として登録、プログラムの最終案に組み込まれることとなります。
