TBL Limited was founded in 2000 to empower Myanmar’s Agricultural fraternity with the latest affordable technology, high-quality inputs and the use of good agricultural practices. Since then, TBL has owned a reputation of being a reliable seed producer in Myanmar for several crops such as cotton, black gram (Matpe), Green Gram, sunflower, soya bean and sesame.

TBL is also one of the very few successful companies in Myanmar that has been doing contract farming. Its contract farming model is being studied by several companies and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (MoALI) to develop at large scale. Through contract manufacturing, TBL produces seeds of Black Gram (TBL 9), Green Gram (Safal 11A & Safal V), Cotton seeds (launching in Myanmar soon), Basmati Rice, Sesame and Soyabean.

TBL since then has also diversified into allied industries as well. In 2016, TBL ventured into providing dehumidifiers and fabric ducting solutions for the factories and warehouses in Myanmar. TBL has partnered with quality suppliers from India to bring cost-effective and high-quality dehumidifier equipment and fabric ducting according to Myanmar’s conditions.

In 2020, TBL started its food division to provide quality food products in Myanmar. Having strength in contract farming and seeds, TBL launched Whole Wheat Flour in Myanmar under the brand name “Farmi Whole Wheat Flour”. Soon TBL has also launched Basmati rice which it supplies to the biggest supermarket chain of Myanmar, City Mart Holding Ltd (CMHL). TBL produces basmati rice for CMHL in their brand.
