Taysier Roberto, born to a Neapolitan mother and a Palestinian father, studied law at the University of Bologna. He later earned a master's degree in Legal Theory from the European Academy of Legal Theory and another master's in Comparative Constitutional Law from Central European University (CEU). His research examines constitutional change through a socio-legal and critical lens, focusing on the interplay between laws, social struggle and democratic legitimacy.
He is currently an Affiliated Researcher at the Centre for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development (CCSDD), a research partnership between Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe and the University of Bologna.
