If you want a dedicated underwater audio solution with built-in storage for swimming, choose Tayogo Swimming Headphones; if you need a lightweight, all-day sports companion for running and hiking that keeps your ears open to the world, choose Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones.
• Tayogo Swimming Headphones: The clear winner for aquatic activities with IPX8 waterproofing and 32GB internal storage for offline music, though it lacks Bluetooth while submerged.
• Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones: An ultra-lightweight option (28g) with flexible titanium frames perfect for high-intensity land sports, but it is not designed for full submersion.
• Best for swimmers and water enthusiasts: Tayogo Swimming Headphones.
• Best for runners, hikers, and cyclists: Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones.
The Tayogo model is engineered specifically for one environment where most headphones fail completely: underwater. Its core strength lies in the combination of an IPX8 waterproof rating and a robust 32GB MP3 player built directly into the device. This isn't just a case of adding a little extra protection; this unit is designed to handle the pressure and moisture of swimming pools, lakes, and even snorkeling expeditions without a single drop of water causing a short circuit. The ability to store up to 6,000 songs locally means you never have to rely on a phone or a waterproof case during a lap session. You simply load your favorite tracks, switch to MP3 mode, and dive in.
For the parent looking for an earphones gift for kids who loves the pool, this is a standout choice. The design includes a comfortable open-ear structure that weighs only 35 grams, making it light enough for younger users to wear for extended periods without fatigue. The inclusion of a carrying case and swim-specific accessories suggests a focus on durability and ease of transport. The battery life supports up to 15 hours of playback on a two-hour charge, which is more than sufficient for a week of training sessions or a long summer vacation trip. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity works flawlessly when you are out of the water, allowing for easy pairing with smartphones for calls or streaming, but the moment you go beneath the surface, the device seamlessly transitions to its standalone MP3 player mode.

However, this product is not a general-purpose earbud. If your primary goal is to listen to music while jogging through a city park or cycling on a windy trail, the Tayogo might feel slightly over-engineered for those specific needs. The button controls are straightforward, but the lack of Bluetooth underwater means you must manually toggle modes. It is a specialized tool. If you do not plan to swim regularly, the 32GB storage feature becomes less relevant compared to other models that offer different form factors. But for anyone who wants to escape the silence of the deep end and enjoy music while their head is submerged, there is no better option in this comparison.
The Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones take a different approach, prioritizing extreme lightness and situational awareness for land-based athletes. Weighing in at just 28 grams, these are among the lightest options available, crafted with a memory titanium frame that allows them to bend and flex without breaking. This flexibility ensures they stay securely on the head during vigorous movements like jumping rope, sprinting, or navigating rough terrain on a hike. The open-ear design is the star here; by bypassing the ear canal entirely, it eliminates the discomfort of earbuds digging into sensitive skin while keeping your ears open to traffic, coaches, or fellow hikers.
This model is ideal for the buyer seeking a sports earbuds gift for kids who participates in team sports or outdoor adventures where safety is paramount. Because the ears remain open, children can hear their teammates calling out or vehicles approaching without needing to pause their activity or remove their gear. The battery life offers 10 hours of continuous playtime, which covers most daily workouts, and the Type-C charging port adds convenience for quick top-ups.
While the sound quality is described as premium for bone conduction technology, the trade-off is the inability to block out noise. If you prefer immersive audio that drowns out the world, these won't deliver that isolation. They are designed for connection to your environment, not separation from it. The build quality feels durable with soft silicone cushions that promise gentle touch for all-day comfort, making them excellent for long-duration use. However, if you ever plan to jump into a pool with them, they will not function. They are strictly for the dry land athlete who values security, comfort, and awareness above all else.

• Best for rugged land sports → Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones: The IP56 rating handles sweat and rain perfectly, and the secure fit makes it superior for running and hiking.
• Best value for swimmers → Tayogo Swimming Headphones: For anyone who swims, the cost of entry is justified by the unique underwater capability that others simply lack.
• Best for casual fitness → Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones: If you mostly walk, cycle, or hit the gym, the lighter weight and simpler setup make Yorlu the easier daily driver.
In my opinion, the right choice depends entirely on whether water is part of your routine. I would buy the Tayogo Swimming Headphones if I needed a reliable earphones gift for kids who love the pool, because the ability to swim with music is a game-changer that the Yorlu simply cannot match. However, for general daily exercise, running, or hiking, I would choose the Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones for their featherlight weight and superior comfort. Ultimately, if you need a best clip on earbuds for kids that doubles as a swimming companion, Tayogo is the only logical pick; otherwise, Yorlu takes the crown for land-based performance.
Only the Tayogo Swimming Headphones are rated IPX8 for full submersion. The Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones are IP56 rated, meaning they resist sweat and rain but are not designed to be submerged in water.
No, the Tayogo Swimming Headphones come with 32GB of built-in storage, allowing you to upload thousands of songs directly to the device and listen without any external connection.
Both models feature open-ear designs that allow children to hear their surroundings, which is crucial for safety. The Yorlu model is particularly noted for its ultra-lightweight 28g design, making it very comfortable for smaller heads during active play.
The Tayogo Swimming Headphones offer up to 15 hours of playback, while the Yorlu Bone Conduction Headphones provide up to 10 hours. Both support fast charging via USB to get you back in action quickly.
